What is FSC? ®?

FSC is an international non-profit organization composed of more than 900 organizations and members, created to promote the protection and responsible management of forests and plantations worldwide.
Established in Italy in 2001, FSC has been a benchmark for the legality and sustainability of the wood-paper supply chain. In accordance with the most current standards, it aims to ensure proper forest management and the traceability of derived products.

why choose fsc®?

By choosing an FSC-certified product, you actively contribute to improving global forest management.
By encouraging the certification of new forests and new wood and paper processing companies, FSC certification is a reliable, transparent, unique, and immediately recognizable tool for the legality and sustainability of wood and paper supply chains.

How to recognize an FSC® product ?

Labels containing logos and license codes are printed directly on the certified product according to strict graphic rules established by international standards.
Depending on the type of raw material used to create the product, certified companies can place three types of labels with the FSC logo on their products:

• FSC 100% - products made exclusively from material from FSC-certified forests.

• FSC MIXED - Indicates that the wood or paper within the product comes from FSC-certified material, recycled material, and/or controlled wood or is composed of at least 70% FSC-certified materials.

• FSC RECYCLED - Certifies that the wood or paper from which the product is composed comes from recycled and recovered material.
